County Championships 2015 PDF Print E-mail
The Norfolk County Championships took place over four weekends across February and March.  The distance events were swam at Wymondham Leisure centre getting us underway on Valentines day, while the shorter events were battled for at Thetford Leisure centre over 4 long days finishing on the first weekend of March.  As usual the event was really well supported, and the atmosphere was electric from start to finish.  Thanks really must go out to the organisers, volunteers and officials from around the county who joined together to make the success it was once again.  From the UEA City of Norwich club perspective there were some fantastic performances from swimmers across a range of squads.

Congratulations Mr Referee PDF Print E-mail
UEA City of Norwich SC and Amateur Swimming in general, is run by a 'family' of extremely dedicated volunteers. Whilst the efforts of everyone are always appreciated, some can manage a short stint occasionally whilst at the opposite end of the spectrum there are those who seem to defy logic in the commitment and time they give to supporting the club and the sport. Huge thanks and congratulations go to the clubs own Darren Peck, who sits squarely in this second group. Darren has very recently achieved qualification as a British Swimming referee.
